“The apartman was spacious and clean with a complete livingroom-kitchen area and a separate bedroom. You can use the facilities of the connected Hotel free of charge. The former New York Palace (now Boscolo Hotel) is worth to see inside with the famous café (and you don't have to queue on the street like the other tourists) but it is going to make the Residence part look quite blank :-). Separate (bit small) shower and bath with a bidet in the bathroom. Anyway we had two comfortable nights in a quite central location for a reasonable price. No regrets whatsoever.”
“The metro station was very close to the apartments”
“very Freindly Staff and give you a quick check in and quick check out”
“Friendly staff, beautiful, huge apartment, perfect breakfast (New York Cafe).”
“Very big room free coffee for everyone close to New York Restaurant”
“Easy walk thru to Boscolo hotel Lovely space and very good beds. Quiet room, very helpful staff. Didn’t have breakfast but buffet looked lovely. Free tea and coffee all day great extra.”
“Very homely, clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful and provided us with a very handy welcome pack to get us familiar with Budapest.”
“Taxi to hotel is @ $35.00. The Hotel was amazing! Super clean and smelled fresh and delightul. The room was spacious on any American standard. It had a full kitchen, living room area. All the dishes, utensils , cups, everything you would need in a kitchen if you were going to prepare a meal. The bathroom was spacious and had a washing machine. The proximity to downtown was great. Budapest is just as beautiful as I had imagined. Would definitely go back again and defiantly stay at Boscolo.”
“The New York Cafe is amazing and as a hotel guest you always get a table there.”
“This was hands down the worst 'hotel' experience I have ever had. Due to being apartments, there was no maid service, even though there was meant to be. I complained EVERY morning for 4 days and it didn't make any difference. My possessions were gone through, incl the safe. Their excuse was that we got your check out date wrong! Yet even though does this allow them to go through your personnel items!! This is NOT part of the Boscolo Hotel and you are made to feel like a lesser citizen because of it. The General Manager refused to meet with me, offering through his staff a token discount which reception were clearly embarrassed themselves offering after the experience! I cannot warn against this property enough. This is the only ever complaint I have made against a hotel and I stay 60-90 days a year in them. DO NOT STAY - it is not worth any price!”
