“Once inside the hotel, everything smells like chocolate which to me was great! The staff is super helpful and makes excellent recommendations. You will feel like you are a Duke or Duchess in this Victorian styled hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the garden is spectacular. They have afternoon tea at 5pm. Breakfast is at your request between reasonable morning hours and everything is freshly made.”

“Staff was most attentive to all needs and treated one as a respectful friend. Dinners were delicious and reasonably priced. 25 red roses in the bedroom, divine and recommend taking the evening bed turning service. They even had a hot water bottle under the blanket!”
“The hotel was beautiful and luxurious yet still welcoming to two backpacking Peace Corps Volunteers who splurged for one special night. The rose petals all over the room were lovely. We enjoyed the tea hour a lot. Dinner was good but the lavender ice cream with strawberries was delicious.”
“Mansion del Angel was just delightful. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind; they made us feel special. We loved our beautiful, comfortable, impeccably clean rooms and direct access to the scrumptious garden through huge French doors. The bathroom was modern and even had a heated floor. The food was so good that we ate in the hotel all five nights that we were there. We were within easy downhill walking distance of terrific local sites and shopping. We highly recommend staying in this historic hotel.”
