“Very friendly staff (as we would expect in Ireland) and we hope it stays that way. Comfortable bed and a faulty light bulb in our room changed immediately. No shower cap etc in our bathroom (shower gel and shampoo were ok) so bring your own if you don't want wet hair! Adjoining swimming pool and gym available for guests which we intend to try on our next visit.”

“The staff were most friendly and helpful and made sandwiches for us even though it was 10 pm on Friday night and the kitchen was closed. The garden with the stream, bridge and beautiful trees were very enjoyable for a stroll.”

“I liked the comfort of the rooms, and the space in the bathroom. I also liked the scenery outside the hotel, it was lovely watching all the starts with no street lights around.”

“It's nice and quiet, lovely yard at the back with beautiful mature trees for a quick walk around the hotel. Bus Eirann drops you off just at the top of the street if you are using public transport to get there. Room was big and I asked for a quiet one so they assigned me to the older part of the hotel. Renovations are in place so you my room was not yet renovated but good enough.”

“Room was ok.we were allocated a refurbished room. Too brown for my liking. Dont like the idea of shower in the bath as i have mobility issues in fact did not use the shower. Breakfast was ok. Bacon undercooked. As it was a tuesday there was only 3 people in the dining room. Hotel is been renovated and should be finished in 3 years.”
