“The Staff were so helpful! Especially Katie the front desk Clerk. She was amazing and the evening gentlemen.”
“Staff was great. Tyler kept the laundry room open open an extra hour so we could do our laundry. Convenient location near to downtown restaurants. Comfortable beds. Breakfast room overlooks marina and water.”
“Facility in extremely poor repair. Room rug and upholstery stained and dirty. Pieces of trash i.e. wrappers from previous guests on floor. Tub so stained we chose not to shower. Bottom of Shower curtain laying in tub. Mold on inside of window curtain. Lobby floor/mats with dried mud. Desk personnel sloppily dressed but OK as far as check in. Hallway to non smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. Breakfast room ran out of coffee at 8:30 am. We would have left except for the fact that we arrived late and exhausted. Way too expensive for a shabby facility. Do not consider this hotel. Pros: comfortable bed with bedding that appeared to be clean. Nice view from breakfast room window.”

“We were in town to visit our naval family. New Bern is a very quaint little town and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very old, but nice enough. We did enjoy the location and the views were nice. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was typical for hotels like this.”

“After checking into my room , I could not get power to desk outlet, and the commode in bathroom would not flush. When I went out for supper that night , I informed the desk clerk of this. He told me to get power to desk , I would have to turn on light switch at the door. My mistake. He said he would have someone check the commode. This was Saturday night around 6 p.m. When I checked out on Tuesday around 8 a.m. the commode would still not work. This is not acceptable, and I will not be back.”
“bathroom stocked with everything I forgot!!!! coffee all night!!!; very late check in and the room was not given away; very helpful staff best of all non smoking!!!!! great space for me to sleep on floor without getting stepped on in middle of night(all hotel beds are way too soft for me- dont take it personal. loved that the frig was cold and ready to keep my beverages that way!!! room temp perfect from the start”
