“Excellent stay at a lovely place with magnificent views and wonderful staff. The food was superb and we would highly recommend to go for half-board. The complimentary activities like daily cooking lessons, afternoon tea and sunset cruises are worth participating. Pool is great and views over the river from the balconies are never boring with the high level of activities on the water. Location ideal to explore Fort Cochi by foot or by tuk tuk (which can be organised for various durations and with knowledgeable driver by the concierge).”

“Beautiful colonial hotel. Fantastic comfy antique bed. Those of us who are vertically challenged really do need the step to get into bed. Lovely selection of teas and a teapot! in the room. Suite was huge. Afternoon tea served delicious pakora, tea, coffe and cake. Yum. Lovely pool area. Pool not huge but enough to pootle and have a dip to keep cool.”

“We had an amazing time here. The hotel itself is really beautiful, the rooms are really clean and the bed is super comfy. We loved sitting on our balcony in the morning because the view over the water was amazing. The staff was really friendly & helpfull. One of the days, was my birthday. Although I was quite far from home they made me really feel like it was a special day. They gave me flowers, birthday card and a really big chocolate cake. There are free activities such as yoga & cooking class daily. We had lunch in the restaurant downstairs and the quality really surprised us. The seafood plate was so big and had a variety of fish. But the best discovery off our whole India vacation was the other restaurant (History), which is only open for diner. We tried several restaurants in F.Kochi but this was absolutely the best (and maybe the most expensive as well). Even better you can drink a good glass of wine here!”
