“Close to restaurants and shops. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”
“Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were satisfying and great coffee.”
“I really had a good stay. The owner and the stuff were reading in my eyes - they where fulfilling every wish immediately. A big thanks. It was worth every dollar.Beside that You have to know, that most of Bahia is still damaged (January 2017) since the earthquake last year. Ruins everywhere. It'll take years to rebuild everything. This hotel is one of a few that is open now. ”
“Staff very, very friendly, helpful. Not many hotels open in Bahia, bit of an oasis among the post earthquake destruction. Security very good. Great pool, hotel clean, breakfast pretty good but extra. Towels, shampoo, soap changed daily, 2 bottles of water daily, minimal noise, good choice if in area. Had clothes racks outside room to hang wet towels, bathing suits, nice extra.”
“They immediately upgraded us. Manager spoke English, gave us a tour of the area on his computer as well as a map and written (in English) suggestions of things to do and places to eat. The hotel was spotless, nice pool with plenty of loungers. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Wouldn't stay anywhere else next time. ”
“Everything- very helpful staff, explained all about restaurants, beaches, where to go, what to do. Our room was upgraded, very clean and modern, pool area was great. Accommodated us for early breakfast when we had to get 8 am bus to Quito.”
“Staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgable, professional. Helped with planning transport out of Bahia, knew best options for shopping, dining, etc. led me to the best meal I've had in my month in Ecuador with Chef Hugo, a private home eatery. That referral alone earned 5 stars. All support like cleaning, dining was also great. The concierge is great.”
“Some ratings on this site are misleading because reviewers like the owner and rate the hotel highly when it doesn't deserve that rating. Buenavista Hotel, by contrast, has immaculate, spacious rooms, a well-maintained swimming pool, well trained, polite staff, a good breakfast, and a kind, generous owner who speaks excellent English. Vladir gave us a free upgrade, provided good advice on what to do in the area, arranged taxis to some of these locations, prepared a printed guide to restaurants in the area, helped us deal with laundry, and accepted Visa for payment with no penalty. What more can you ask for!”
“Vladir and his wife make you feeling at home. Always available for your needs and rooms are comfortable. Hotel well located in Bahia del caracquez.”
“To bad we can't give an 11 out of 10 . they surrely deserve it”
