“Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Despite having our meals in the bar, rather than the restaurant, we were invited to have a pre meal drink in the Lovely "Long Room." We were shown through to our table in the bar and had waiter service there. The bar meals were of very good quality and reasonably priced. Also, both myself and my friend had lovely rooms with views over the gardens towards the old pier and across the voe. When we arrived, staff helped us in with our luggage. The house has a great history, the oldest part being 16th century. The grounds were lovely to explore, which we did on our last morning as we did not have to check out until 1200 noon.”
