The hotel is in beautiful historic building that has been tastefully and superbly renovated with a calm and elegant atmosphere. Our heritage room was huge, beautifully appointed and came with a very opulent bathroom and complementary French champagne to help us celebrate. The onsite restaurants are all fabulous, there is valet parking, an onsite spa, very nice bar areas and a quite hotel lounge. You are walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars, parks, the river and elizabeth quay - a perfect location. Expensive, special and highly recommended.”
“Beautiful hotel, seamless and discreet check in and staff guide you to your room. Upon opening the door the room is light, beautifully decorated with homage to the heritage features. Complimentary mini bar was lovely and the bathroom superb. We enjoyed breakfast at Post and will definitely stay again when we take a mini break in our capital city.”
“Room was fantastic. Staff were good but I'm not keen on reception area as not always manned. I don't think I saw a manager or senior staff at any time. No one made you feel special when leaving just a good bye and here's your bill. I think it was in need or more personalised service for the price. Room service slow and mediocre. Petition Restaurant excellent. Breakfasts excellent. Coffee not good in restaurants, very bitter.”
