“The hotel owners were lovely and made me feel welcome even though I arrived at 2pm when they were busy with the lunchtime bar service. I was able to place my bicycle in their locked garage which was very reassuring. My bedroom had dual aspect windows so I was able to keep the room cool. The hotel is opposite the theatre and was a lovely lively spot with buskers and the hotel's bar had tables on the theatre side of the road.”
