“This hotel covers all expectations, situated on the beach with a private gwrden overlooking the beach. The cottage was on two floors upstairs being the bedrooms accessed easily by stairs, nit difficult. The place is cosy...the seating comfy and there's a log fire and wood which makes relaxing in the evening delightful. Upstairs bedroom has a small balcony patio doors which is quite useful to look at the view and lie in bed listening to the waves....the beach is clean and safe....access to the main road with shops and cafes in the same road. The bar and restaurant in the Caledonian has a decent menu...we had flake/ shark it was tasted and nit greasy. The hotel is historic and pleasing to the eye....the lady on reception was very freindky and helpful......all in all this was a delightful three night stop over...Robe is worth a visit with nice beach walks in either direction.”
