“Hotel provided all the basic needs and a welcoming staff. We arrived late at night, so our small ground floor room may have been the last to fill. No outdoor window, but a cabinet with shelves and hangers. Ceiling fan with light, plus a/c, and refrigerator mini-bar. Our room was just between the reception and breakfast area, so internet was fine! Didn't see any other rooms. We did climb to the roof to check out the unremarkable view. The breakfast lady was charming and the offering was coffee, tea, cereal, arepas, toasted sandwiches, fruit and handmade juices. We did our best to converse in Spanish, as only Juan Phillip spoke much English. He shared lots of tips regardin Cartagena and our upcoming time in Colombia.”

“I asked them for a room on the first floor, for my mom, and they replied fast and confirming this request was possible. We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed it a lot as we needed it to rest and it was nice and quiet (even that we were right next to the breakfast area). Beds comfy, good shower and very reasonable prices for drinks in the fridge. Location is quite good. Only one block from the park Fernández de Madrid.”
