“The property and rooms are very beautiful and unorthodox for the average hotel. But Casa Mariquita is far from orthodox. We marveled at the multistory establishment, not straight up but lateral up the side of the mountain. Walking from street level, passing the office on our way to our up and lateral "3rd story" room was a pleasure in itself each time we traversed the layered mexican tiled stairs. Every nook and cranny was populated with tropical plants of every persuasion. Our trip was right after Thanksgiving, but we visualized them filled with color come Spring. ”
“The rooms were a little tight but I liked that there were two queen beds in the room. There are fewer options for large families. There were 8 of us so we had two rooms. They have a great continental breakfast.”
