“Great location! loved the neighborhood - the park close by, the metro station close by, a charming person at the front desk, view from the room and breakfast room, the history of the property, the room was larger, great bathroom. all in all - a great stay in Lisbon.”
“Great, friendly, helpful staff, beautiful room, great location--easy 5 minutes to Metro, walk almost everywhere, fantastic breakfast. Don't let the facade or the busy street deter you; the inside is lovely and the traffic is quiet when you need to sleep. This would be our "go to" place if we're ever in town again. Great value.”
“Very convenient for walking to a lot of the sights or taking metro. Very good value for money in a busy tourist city. breakfast ok choice for small hotel with fresh fruit, pastries, rolls, ham, cheese and scrambled eggs and bacon”
“Good location ( metro and bus station nearby ) ; friendly and helpful staff; very clean room”
“Nicely decorated room, very friendly staff and a good location, easy to get from the airport by subway.”
“Really comfortable room and giving onto a side street so very quiet.”
“The staff at the reception was extremly kind and helpfull. The Hotel is located in a very nice position and it is an historical building containing beautiful examples of azulejos.”
“The building is a stunning traditional mansion, all rooms are very beautiful and each one is different from the other. We kindly asked to change room in order to get a slightly bigger bed since we are both tall and they promptly offered us two options (got room 101, a corner room with a lovely 1950,s decor). Bed was super comfortable. A big plus was the perfectly working and almost noiseless a/c. All personnel was extremely kind and attentive. The room was spotless clean and towels changed daily. Continental breakfast is served in a sunny dining room lined with azulejos. The property is close to Rato metro station and at a walking distance from the centre (although like everywhere in Lisbon get comfortable walking shoes and consider that the steep streets are inevitable).”
“The decoration and comfort of the room was great. Our experience in the hotel was better than What we expected. The inclusion of breakfast in our stay was a plus.”
“Reception staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was good - help yourself and topped up as required. Rooms were large and airy and clean towels were provided each day even though we did not ask for them. Decor was old fashioned/period and was lovely. Wi-fi was free and readily available although it was better in the reception area. As I had booked not only for myself and partner but also my brother and his wife was really pleased with the accommodation.”
