“A wonderful relaxing place to spend a night (or two, if touring the area). The property has considerable character - lots of heavy Spanish wood, and interesting decoration and furnishings - exactly how I would expect a typical traditional Spanish country hotel). The views are stunning, taking in mountains and fields. The hospitality is superb, as are the food and drinks. The staff lit a huge fire in the fireplace the night we had dinner there (it was November), and the room was well heated. There is a nice roof terrace, with outdoor spa (seasonal, I guess, since it wasn't functioning.)”

“Spacious and cool bedroom, beautiful building, stunning views of the mountains around, absolutely peaceful location far from the madding crowd, but not too far so you can still enjoy the city at your own pace. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating - the owner was very understanding and great to chat with and a particular mention to the cook, who took our being vegans as a personal challenge and treated us with a variety of different delicious meals every night! I had a wonderful time there and would go back in a heartbeat!”

“Great place to be. Just outside the little white village. Great view and looking over the mountains of Malaga. 3/4 hour away of the beach and of Malaga. Marvellous nature around the hotel. the owner of the hotel is a great host, knows his languages. Respect for that, because the Spanish people speak not a word of any other language. He tries to make his place a bit different, but better than the arounding hotels, and he succeeds in that! Great Spanisch cook! Price/qualitity is perfect. Nice company, good laughs and also some filosofy! Thanks for a superb ending of our visit in Andalusia. If you don't want the stress of the big city and you and to travel to a great landscape, it is the place to be!”
