“The Hosts were incredible. They treated us like family. The community of Ollantaytambo is very nice. There is much to see there before or after visiting Machupicchu. Unfortunately for many travelers it is a one night stay. The people, food and sites are outstanding .”
“The hotel is a few minutes walk to the Ollataytambo Inca ruins, near the main square. Staff is very helpful. They have a transportation service to and from the train station to the Macchu Picchu. Breakfast is very good and more than substantial. Snacks, fruits and drinks are offered 24/7.”
“We loved the friendly and helpful staff. Always smiling and ready to help. ”
“Manager sent a driver to meet us at the train station. It was very nice gesture and gratis. The hotel is closer to the Inca historic site and just a short walk the town center. Definitely more quiet. Beds comfortable and the breakfast prepared for you when you request it. They even helped us to repair a broken piece of luggage. Completely exceeded our expectations.”
“The staff were awesome at this hotel - very genuine and friendly. They offered an incredible breakfast each morning. The property is on the edge of town in a perfect location - within walking distance to all of the amenities (5 minutes away from restaurants, tourist attractions), but away from the nightlife noise. Out of our entire trip to Peru, this was our favorite hotel that we stayed at.”
“The property is unique with many antiques and lounges. The rooms are along one side of the corridor, while the other side is a glass wall with a magnificent view towards Machu Pichu. Good breakfast. Located a short distance past the ruins, our taxi had some trouble finding it, but a beautiful location and quiet!! (until the rooster fires up his engine, but i prefer that to party noise and horns honking through the night). We were able to drop our bags early afternoon before our tour to Pisac, and when we returned to check-in that evening, our bags were already in our room. Staff were most helpful, and our stay included a transfer to the train station. Definitely recommended.”
“Marco at the front desk was fantastic! He was very helpful at check in, tips to get around, and at breakfast. Thank you, Marco! The room is well furnished. The bed was excellent, very comfortable - we especially liked the reading lamps. The bathrooms are small but very clean and functional. The breakfast was great!”
“Friendly helpful staff. Good location. A bit over decorated, but light and cheerful. Great views. Help arrange a good drive to Cuzco.”
“This is a very quirky hotel (in a good way) and you really feel like you are staying in a Peruvian family's home. The staff cannot help you enough, they offer a great breakfast, organised our airport transfer, provided a lunch to take away as we had an early start one morning to go to Macchu Picchu. It is also very well located, just 5 mins walk from the attractions and restaurants of Ollantaytambo.”
“The eggs were made to order, the beds where comfortable, the water was hot for showers, the wifi was excellent, the hotel felt secure, they were helpful and friendly.”
