“Interesting old castle Nicely restored. Nice location beside the river. Food was superb.”
“of course: it is a castle! and rooms are within a real castle, with old nice little stone windows and the like. also, from the room there's a nice view of the (private, I guess) park and of the river, in between the trees. the place would be super romantic, were it not for the fact that it is huge, with that typical big-hotel conference-like impersonal feeling.”

“Nespresso machine at breakfast - at last some decent coffee!. Good buffet and starts early at 7.15 which is great if you are on a journey, as i was on a motorbike. Good place for bikers as they let you park the bike in very safe spot inside castle. no air conditioning though and it can get very hot. it was 37 degrees when i arrived and so sleep that night was disturbed by the heat. Restaurant very nice spot inside the courtyard but a bit over priced for the quality, the same with wines.”
