“Arrived by bicycle- warm welcome and help with our luggage and bike storage. Indeed staff could not be faulted. Large room overlooking the park- lovely even if a little faded. Walked around the Park before drinks on the terrace and an excellent meal in a lovely period dinning room. Suberb stopover.”

“After a long drive we were met in the driveway by a formally dressed member of staff who took complete charge of our check-in and luggage. We were introduced to the owner/manager who made us feel very welcome.”
“We were offered a choice of rooms, and chose a spacious room with a comfy bed, and a great view. We had time to walk all round the large park, which has a swimming pool and a lake, and some lovely specimen trees. Sitting on the terrace for an evening drink and for breakfast was wonderful. The staff were all charming, and the dinner was excellent, and served in a really beautiful room. We can't wait to return next year.”
