“My fiancé and I arrived here by bicycle from Agra, on the way to Alwar. The property is an incredible hidden gem in a small village a few km from the main road. The welcome drink and cold flannel was perfect. The suite (room 203) was stunning (complete with marble floors with embedded semi-precious stones representing the same technique seen at the Taj Mahal) and the food amazing. The aloo gobi was the best curry we have ever had - anywhere in the world. The staff were so friendly and made the stay perfect for us - Pustpinder was particularly great and we would like to say a big thank you to him. I couldn’t recommend this place enough as a getaway as you travel from city to city. Interestingly, the place used to be owned by Benazir Bhutto’s grandfather.”
“The original building is a gem. It is sad it has not been maintained appropriately. The village walk was very interesting.”
“Excellent service - the staff go all out to delight the guests. Personalised service. Food was tasty, good variety, special care for kids requirements, prompt and timely. Rooms were well maintained.”
“VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, VERY GOOD DINNER AND BREAKFAST. I LIKE ROYAL LOCATION OF SWIMMING POOL. BATHROMS ARE FIVE STAR.”
“The food was excellent. The room was fine but hot water not enough for one shower much less two. The village was an amazing experience through which to walk.”
“Très bon repas. La cuisine est excellente. Un hotel de charme au milieu d'un petit village, un dépaysement complet en dehors des itinéraires touristiques.”
“De meest originele locatie midden in een landelijk Indisch dorp. De service en vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Het eten was fantastisch lekker”
