“If you are driving, cycling or are out hiking, this place is probably for you, because it is out in the hills. The atmos of the place is warm, inviting, friendly and comfortable. A great breakfast is provided in an interesting dining room. We stayed in the room across the yard out the back of the tavern and it was cosy and quiet. A beautiful historic tavern this is, set in beautiful surrounds with very helpful, accommodating staff.”

“A very lovely hostess, Lesley, is to be thanked for her kindness and hospitality. The place was historical, interesting and "pittoresque", it was amazing to find an old inn - in the mid of the rural scenery, with hens, donkeys, sheep - serving good food in friendly atmosphere.”
