“Valet parking was an unexpected surprise. Upgraded to a suite on arrival, the location and facilities of which were exceptional. Food was very good, staff very helpful without being over-attentive. The grounds are stunning, and the walk through the grounds and along the river to the beach was lovely.”

Wonderful staff for whom nothing is too much trouble and a fantastic bar and barman. “The whole experience from the time we arrived until we left was very special. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were brilliant and very attentive. Our friends enjoyed their meal with us at the Kitchen and the ride to and from the Hotel in the pouring rain in the buggy was quite special as well. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel and so we could see a great deal which was interesting The lavender pots on our terrace gave off a glorious smell in the evening. The only thing that was a problem was the rain as it stopped us going to the beach. We have always enjoyed our visits to the hotel and this one was no exception”
