“Attached to fantastic Italian restaurant (the reason we chose it) offering a good deal for Early Bids Mon-Fri. Excellent and easy parking. Service excellent. Lovely bar. Decor and surroundings convivial. Staff welcoming and personable. Taxi to centre of Leicester £10 (we were attending a concert). Excellent cooked to order breakfast making this good value compared to city centre hotels. We will be back.”
“Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room very comfortable, clean and breakfast was fantastic and fresh - cooked to order and served with care. Coffee served was of an excellent standard too. It was possible to alter the room temperature very easily - radiator control was accessible and the window opened. It isn't air conditioned but it is in the UK and I stayed in October so this wasn't an issue! Beautiful soft fluffy towels, lovely toiletries and supplies in bathroom and a huge shower enclosure. I stayed alone and the bed was fine for me but it may have been on the small side for 2 adults if you are used to sharing a king size not a double. Very pleasant stay, better than a chain hotel any day. Would recommend to others.”
