“This is a really clever transformation of an attractive and historic building - previously a bank and a newspaper office. The location is central with great views of the river and the Orebro castle. The central location puts most places in town in walking distance. We were reluctant at first that evening meals were part of the package but we were wrong. The food served over four successive nights was excellent and always different. All the staff are really friendly and, more importantly, go out of their way to be helpful. We had a spacious bedroom and large bathroom with a heated floor. Good breakfast buffet and all day complimentary coffee.”

“THE EXCELLENT STAFF ! We had problems with booking.com. We had to cancel one night due to travel time conflicts. The booking.com web site would not allow us to cancel one nights stay without charging us a considerable amount of money to do so. The Clarion Hotel Borgen staff fixed it for us with out paying for it. God bless them!”

“Apart from a very good breakfast and tea/coffee whenever you wanted, a dinner was also included. If you expected only a small meal, you would be wrong. There were warm and cold dishes, salads, a soup, boulgour with chicken in a pesto marinade and various types of bread, all of very good quality. Asking about which dishes contained meat, we were also offered a vegetable chili which had a wonderful taste. Since the soup was very popular and finished about half an hour before the end, the cook even prepared another soup. He and the rest of the staff definitely love their jobs and the service for the guest.”
