“The view was lovely, and the main room had a lovely open fire for us to sit in. As we were there on a Sunday evening, there weren't many other guests so we had it to ourselves. We even got a bonus after dinner port if we wanted one.”

“We chose Ocean View One room with a king bed and spacious sitting area. In May it was chilly and very windy and we enjoyed wine and cheese inside at the corner table looking out to the ocean. This place is perfect to spend the night after visiting the Penguin Parade instead of driving back to Melbourne at night, only 15 minutes away. Host was very friendly and allowed us to check in early to we could go to the parade on time. Free wifi was sketchy, but sometimes it worked perfectly. Breakfast was extra. They provide kettle, tea and coffee supplies which we enjoyed in the morning. This place would be great when the weather is nicer to be able to go out and walk on the beach.”

“I loved the Hamptons-like decor of the Guesthouse and my room I got the room I wanted to stay in based on the images on the site. It was fantastic, it was a huge room with a four poster bed, air con and a small bar, the view was the best thing about it...the ocean, with all its fury and beauty and with wildlife feeding right outside my window (a family of wallabies, ibis and Cape Barren geese). Breathtaking!!! Service was with a smile and staff accommodated me with a sumptuous ploughman's lunch at short notice. The rooms of the Guesthouse are sprawled across the property, I had a sense of privacy and could not hear any noise from the other guests though the guesthouse was full. The lounge area was comfortable and the breakfast was generous. I was able to order a superb latte at virtually any time or a glass/bottle of top shelf shiraz. The hostess was very gracious and lovely. A very memorable and comfortable stay.”
