“The continental breakfast was impressive. The lobby was transformed into a cafe. The variety of food met all appetites. Loved the fresh blueberry muffins best!”

“This place was absolutely beautiful and lovely. So full of period charm and character, yet totally modern and updated. Spotless clean, nice people. We enjoyed the hot tub which felt very private. Our room had a stunning view of the amazing roaring river in back. We even sat in the cozy lobby by the fireplace and played checkers. The adjoining restaraunt was also amazing, large yet cozy and charming with fireplace, multiple seating areas, free cheese crackers and bread, excellent service, and an interesting menu (a little pricey though). There was live music which was very good playing classic soft rock and you didn't have to wait til 9 pm for it (they were already playing when we got there around 7 on a Friday).”
“Really enjoyed the novelty of the well maintained period facility. Good breakfast, attentive staff. A unique room with brick walls and wooden ceiling trusses. Upon daybreak enjoyed looking at the grounds/history. Wish we had time to dine at their restaurant.”
“This was a sweet little hotel located reasonably close to Woodstock. The room was large, with comfortable beds and good linens. The bathroom had good amenities. The breakfast, although basic, was perfectly suitable for our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

“The hotel can be hard to find. For some reason, our GPS gave up and told us we were on our own about a block from the hotel. But it's worth the effort -- the hotel and adjacent restaurant are carved out of an old textile factory. The rooms are spacious and the decor is reminiscent of a prior age.”
