“This hotel is an excellent place to stay for a visit to the Pompei ruins. The staff are extremely helpful and go above and beyond the call of duty. The service is impeccable and the rooms clean, modern, air conditioned, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Special thanks to my wonderful driver Rosario who taxied me to Pompei town centre and back to the hotel (the hotel is not a walkable distance from the entrance to the ruins but it is about 10 minute drive or two stops on the Circumvesuviana train). The hotel itself is a short walk from the Ponte Persica train station, which is two stops away from the Pompei-Scavi station. The immediate surrounding of the hotel is a bit run down but the environment and the service make up for the location. Breakfast is continental style (coffee/tea, croissants, cakes etc) and is fresh and tasty. I guess if it had a swimming pool this hotel would be a perfect holiday destination in the hot summer months.”

“Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner was delicious. The hotel is situated close to the railway which gives easy access to Pompei (3 mins away) and Sorrento (30 mins away). Local area is very authentic rural Italian - we walked along to the main shops to buy some snacks and found the locals very friendly and we put to use our limited Italian language skills.”
