“Shuttle pick up service was unavailable when the boat docked. Would have had to wait 1.5 hrs for pick up! They offered to pay our cab fare instead. Very considerate and accommodating. :)”
“Hotel and view were perfect, but I was force by Harvey to leave !”
“The hotel was located within a short walk to the seawall, less than a 5 minute walk.”
“The hotel is an excellent location! A small 3 to 5 minute walk to the beach that was very easy. The hotel also has a nice balcony that overlooks the beach! The price was great as well!”
“The room was ok. . (The top comforter smelled stale). The most alarming discovery was the next morning when I took a towel off the rack and found a roach. I will not return to this place because of that.”
“I was a little leery because of the prior reviews and complaints, so much so that I even tried to change hotels 2 days before, but everyone was booked. I am happy to say that our experience was great. Clean bed and shower, checked for bedbugs- found none- and I am bug phobic. The carpet was worn and the leather office chair was cracked but overall for only one night wer were mostly concerned about the bed and bathroom which were perfectly fine. A quick walk to the beach, several restaurants and even took a walk to the beach and then to the pier (which was actually pretty lame). Breakfast was typical microwave eggs, sausage and potatoes and the obligatory waffle maker and takes forever toaster, but I had coffee and my son had a waffle so it worked! Great for overnight stay before our Cruise.”
“Everything was excellent, clean, fresh, comfortable and the view from our room was great. Thanks!”
“The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent!”
“We were there less than 2 hours when my wife extended our stay a 3rd night and called into work telling them she wasn't leaving the beach and this view yet as her excuse. No problem there, they understood. Looking at the pier and all the lights at night and staring at the ocean during the day can't be beat from this location. Best view ever and we liked it more than our Strip views in Las Vegas. We'll never stay at another hotel in Galveston. Indoor pool, breakfast with real Oatmeal not the packages, easy parking, mini fridge, smoke on the balcony, unbelievable views, on the beach, and a few minutes walk to the pier with awesome rides. You can not beat this hotel. I work really hard and deserved to find a place so amazing and relaxing for a few days. My red head decided we could go South in the summer as long as we come here. She went from I don't want to be hot and mad I set up a vacation to the south to let's go back as soon as possible!”
“I was extremely pleased with how conveniently located everything was in relation to the hotel. Plenty of food options were within walking distance as well as the pleasure pier so we didn't have to deal with the hassle of finding and paying for parking space. Sorry never woke up in time for breakfast so I can't share any insight on that. The hot tub was nice and the pool was enjoyable. However I did think the pool was going to be bigger. Kinda small for my taste but then again we went to swim in the gulf so the pool was just a bonus for us.”
