“Nice clean bed & room, quiet even though there was loud music down in the bar, u couldn't hear it in the room. The room & breakfast was only £45, I wasn't expecting much for the price but was very pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was delicious, staff friendly & helpful, bed clean & comfy & free wifi which was more than one of the other hotels had & it was twice the price.”
“We used the Crown as a mid way stop back home, parking for 3 motorcycles was provided behind locked gates which was a plus. The rooms were basic but clean, hot water with good towels. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bar was pleasant with reasonable priced drinks. the highlight of the Hotel was the food, freshly prepared, good potions and tasted very very good. the best food of our tour”
“Very friendly and helpful staff - lucky enough to be there at the start of the Ridings, so found a pipe band in the hotel. Parking available at free, perfectly safe, car park about 100 yards away. Landlord very helpful with local info. Lovely hotel where all hte floors and walls are npot quite level/straight, which adds to its character.”
