“The staff was very kind. There were lots of options for breakfast and coctails. The breakfast and dinner was very delicious. The chef was extremely kind, he prepared gluten and lactose free food for us upon request.”
“We travelled more than 500 kms by car with our 1 year old son to enjoy Kaprun and we were overwhelmed! Das Falkenstein offers one of the best continental breakfast I have ever had (they even bake their own bread and breed chicks for eggs), the room was spacious and with huge balcony with view on the mountains and on the river across the street. One of the biggest attraction (Sigmund Thun Klamm) is only 8 mins by foot, downtown of the city 12 minutes, Tauern Spa 25. If you do not want to walk, bus station of bus 660 is directly in front of the hotel! It happened that I and my son were in the hotel in days when we celebrate our birthdays. Family Nindel, owners of the hotel, prepared us very nice cakes and congratulations :-) We also enjoyed the dinner every day - soup, salad, starter, main course and desert for 20 EUR! Amazing. We also used the pool and outdoor / indoor playroom for kids. Das Falkenstein was great choice! And we are absolutely coming back.”
