“Owners were extremely helpful, offering great advice and help for the next part of our holiday which was a 2 day slow boat trip down the Mekong river to Luang Prabang in Laos.”
“Very friendly and helpful owners. Comfortable room with stunning view of the Mekong.”
“Very nice big rooms with a balcony facing the river, the hosts speak perfect English. There is a minimal breakfast included. Highly recommended.”
“very clean good location view over the Mekong good size room can walk into town easily simple breakfast provided”
“A basic hotel with a great view. Incredibly nice owners who are very helpful... have the free breakfast and coffee, very good. I took the slow boat after and the lady insisted on packing me some fruit and cakes... very sweet!”
“Stayed here prior to our slow boat ride to Laos and it really is a great value hotel, our room was spotless clean and loved looking over at the Thai-Lao border riverside on the balcony! Location is great and quiet! Wifi was fast. Last but not least, the owners Kai and Yao were so friendly and helpful the second we stepped into the hotel. Highly recommended!”
“Large clean room with magnificant view. Owners will help you with all info needed to cross the border”
“Wonderful hosts. This hotel was great for a short one night stay before our transfer to Laos. The rooms and bathrooms were immaculately clean. Our only criticism is the beds, these were the hardest we have had anywhere in Asia in all our travels over the years.”
“Amazing location with great views over to Laos. The staff was super friendly and helpful.”
“Without a doubt the best thing about the Day Waterfront Hotel is Yao and Kai, two more hospitable people would be hard to find. The hotel is super clean with good basic amenities, all you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the area and have lots of suggestions for activities, restaurants and so forth. Do yourself a favour and eat at Jam across the road for at least one meal, would never cook again if she lived near me. A decent hotel with the most genuine hosts.”
