“Great place. Extraordinary views from the roofterrace. Nice and helpfull staff and an exellent breakfast, probably the best hotel-breakfast we had on our trip. When we arrived half the town was taken over by a market, but I think it doesn't occure to often. The last day the expirence of the town was that their were only few tourists this day in October. One of our best experiences was watching the sun rise from the castel next door - dont miss it.”

“Staff were very helpful. Fortunately we ran into the owner while looking for the hotel as it is a bit tricky to find due to the very narrow streets in Marvao. The GPS had us going in circles. The room was in a good location, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Bar around the corner was very convenient. The restaurant we ate in was also very nice. Marvao was very beautiful, well worth an overnight stop. We visited the castle first thing in the morning and were the only ones there for a while.”
