“Very comfortable place in a wonderful environment - with a good onsen to relax at the end of a long hike!”
“The manager on duty when we arrived was delightful, very helpful and spoke good English. Other staff were very pleasant but spoke very limited, if any, English. The onsen was great with an outdoor pool, two hot indoor pools, a cold pool and sauna. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and varied. The room is large with both Japanese and Western seating areas. The village is tiny and tasteful. This is a perfect location for hiking in this fascinating and beautiful national park.”

“Excellent location, which is right next to the Ebino Plateau tourist center and major volcano trekking trails. The onsen bath is great and the beef dinner set is delicious. Staffs speak very limited English but very nice and helpful regardless. The free on-demand shuttle service to Iwasaki hotel and Kirishima jingu station was very handy.”
