Rum Mahallesi'nde gezinirken nasıl zamanda keyifle yolculuk yaptıysam, her ada gününe nasıl bi kadeh şarapla başlayıp onu batırmaya yine bikaç kadeh şarapla devam ettiysem ve nasıl tüm bunlar hiç bitmesin diye dilediysem. Otelde de aynı huzurla dinlendim, uyudum, güne ve geceye hazırladım kendimi ve bunun bitmesini hiç istemedim...”
