“Although small, this hotel has it all! The reception area is compact but functional. The staff spoke English quite well, not fluent, but why should they be? Between us, with my fractured Spanish, we got along famously! Breakfast is amazing - and unlike other continental breakfasts, served to your table by a lovely waitress. Fresh fruit skewers, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, toast, cheese, ham and spanish tortilla. Best continental I have ever had!”

“it is very difficult to get to. We prefer to use buses and trains partly because we like to meet Spanish people and speak the language but we had to use a taxi to get there. There is no station in the town and the bus service is not good. We used a taxi to get from Peniscola to the train station because it was so tricky. This came as a shock to us as bus and train services in Spain are normally good. In the Basque country, for instance, they are fantastic and make life easy.”
“Perfect is the only way to describe this hotel. First of all Anna the owner is amazing, allways smiling, take care of all your wants and needs. The rooms are clean and allways smelled good, the shower was great with hidro massage, the towels are clean and soft, the beach is right across the street (take the room with the see view it was so beautiful), the breakfast was perfect with real quality coffey, lots of fruits, nuts, cheese, fresh bread and pastry, orenge juice etc... The location is the best on the, stripp next to restaurants and shops and of course papa lona castle. I trevel a lot and its one of the best places i ever stayed in!!!#”
