“The hotel is super, marvellous views of Etna and pool. Great restaurant alongside. Surrounding area of town pretty shabby but so is much of Sicily away from the central tourist areas. Absolute Oasis and great base for families touring and then needing somewhere to chill by the pool. Excellent”
“Very nice property, really close to Mount Etna, Catania and Taormina. I had a great experience and the hotel staff is very helpful and can book amazing excursions to the volcano. I loved the structure, the breakfast, the dinner in the restaurant and the swimming pool (it is still possible to swim in October). I would definitely choose this structure again.”
“The place has an excellent atmosphere, rooms are situated around the courtyard with lots of plants, flowers, beautiful colors, like you step back in time. At the back of the house a large swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds and chairs. From this side a wonderful view at the Etna. Staff is very helpful and nice. Possibility to book guided trip to the Etna. Good breakfast. Good restaurant.”
“Amazing location on the Eastern coast of Sicily. Everything was perfect during my stay and the room was really clean and quiet, but what I appreciated most was the kindness of the staff, which provided useful information and tips. The swiiming pool, the big parking area and the free wi-fi connection are a plus!I'm grateful and I'll choose again this hotel for my future holydays.”
“Breakfast was a mix of meats, cheeses, cakes and cereals and made to order coffee. Really enjoyed it. Hotel was quaint a real find. It's not five star but you are not booking that type of place. It's an old Italian house in a good location. Restaurant on site good value and quality of ingredients excellent. Really recommend savoury pastry starters, veal and slow cooked tomato pasta. 5/7 mins from pebbly beach but water clean. Taomarina nearby and great day out. Recommend old town and gardens. Finally the staff especially Luisa were terrific. Very engaging, polite and she was passionate to make you feel welcome. It's not the Ritz but would recommend”
