There were also other breads, sliced ham, bacon, scrambled eggs and cheeses and in addition, fresh fruit. It was not an American breakfast, but we loved it. It was served in a sunny conservatory and was a great introduction to Italy. Our room was a small suite, very clean, maybe a little dated, but who cares?”
