“Excellent location for exploring New York. Most of the major tourist attractions are a maximum of twenty minutes walk, and Penn Street Station is very easy to find and use to get to South Ferry next to Battery Park for access to ferries to the Statue of Liberty etc. The room was small but comfortable with a very comfortable bed. The en-suite was clean and the shower excellent.”
“All the staff were fantastic. The front desk were all so helpful with advice (particularly Ken), the cleaning staff and the breakfast staff were all lovely. Everyday there was a little something extra like a cookie, chocolates or cordial in the lobby for you when you returned. There was even pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving! The view from our room of the Empire State Building was a wonderful surprise.”

“Easy access from Penn station on arrival and departure. Two metro stations not far away. Good for walking to Broadway shows, some basic shopping in the neighbourhood. Good breakfast. Overall midtown may not be the most lovely part of city, but makes a good basis for exploration of NY, both on foot and in terms of time spent in public transportation.”
