“Good value for money for a New Orleans stay. Slightly odd as the hotel is virtually within a military facility but that is not a problem. Easy access to the French Quarter ,either a 45 minute walk along the levy, beside the Mississippi, or a 5 minute drive ,to the Algiers point ferry , which really easy and convenient and only a couple of dollars and delivers you a 5 minute walk into the French quarter”
“Everything about Federal City was excellent EXCEPT the location. It was hard to locate. It is in Algiers, across the Miss. river. We thought we’d try it and if you have lots of time it’s worth it. To Uber in non-rush hours is under $12. Triple in prime time. Still worth it if u compare downtown prices with this motel.”

“It was a good location, close to the Ferry over to Canal St from Algiers Point. The hotel was nice and very clean and the rooms very spacious with kitchenette. The hotel is on the old Navel Base and it will be good if they develop the site further. ”

“We evacuated from South Florida and ended up in this location. The neighborhood looked run-down and not safe. I almost didn't stay. But, as we pulled up to the hotel; we found it was in the middle of military buildings and had security. The room was large and comfortable. And, with a small kitchen. Even the dog was super comfortable. The front desk staff were very nice too. I will definitely return for a vacation in the future.”
