“Nice hotel, helpful staff. Nice decor, good continental breakfast, lovely location. Had lunch on arrival which was tasty. Nice beer garden.”
“The hotel is extremely tidy and well maintained, there is plenty of private parking for cars on the grounds beside the hotel. The breakfast is continental style and the restaurant serves good portions of high quality food at other times. It is in a very accessible, quiet and peaceful neighbourhood / hamlet on the edge of the countryside. The hotel is about a ten minute walk out of Gmund (there is a bus stop nearby) and we thoroughly enjoyed our walks in and out of Gmund. The boats on the lake also stop at the pier at kaltenbrunn (10 min walk also) The staff are very pleasant and professional, and could not be more helpful. (Local travel card for buses etc included) In short ideally situated for peace and quiet, value for money and facilities and staff that cannot be faulted”

“The hotel was comfortable and a short drive for Tergnernsee which has a great traditional beirhaus! We were there off season so I think it would have been a bit more lively with more things to do in the local area had we visited in the summer and for a longer period of time.”
