There was also a Filipina named Ghessy who was kind enough to entertain me during my stay, she speaks English so that's good! “Hotel location is perfect as it is only 5 mins walk to the train station & nearby the forest walking trail. The lady boss is exceptionally friendly & helpful. She helped us to book a kind & friendly driver who willingly explained to us the interesting places along the journey & stopped his car at the roadside for us to take pics whenever there was a nice scenery. On the way back from Alishan to Chiayi, he even drove us to a town for lunch & recommended us a nice restaurant.”
