- Please note that the property offers free pick-up or drop-off transfer from/to Penang International Airport. Guests are kindly requested to inform the property in advance of their expected arrival and departure flight details if they wish to make use of this service.<br><br>The resort is located 10 minutes up a hill. and travel buses are not able to drive up to the resort. Special arrangement is required to transfer guests from travel bus to the resort and it is subject to additional charges. Please contact the management for further info. If guests are coming in a group, it is advisable to use 10-seater van. Please note network access/mobile signals are weak in these areas.<br><br>Resort only serves breakfast, and there is no restaurant to serve lunch and dinner. Barbecue facilities and electric steamboat cooker with tableware are provided.<br><br>For BBQ, please bring along food, charcoal and aluminium foil.<br><br>Nearest restaurants, food courts and shopping centres are within 10-minutes drive away.<br>A tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. “This is a UNIQUE environment. We knew we would be isolated, but my husband didn't really understand HOW isolated. Google Maps led us up the bike route, so be sure to request a MAP or the correct entrance before attempting to drive or cab there.”

“Amazing location. Lots of space, very large rooms. Separate airco's in all rooms of the villa. Very helpfull staff! Extended breakfast with fresh fruit, tea (coffe when asked), juice... not typical Maleisian but as good as it can get. The professional Karaoke system seemed a bit odd to us, but the chinese love this, as we noticed when our neighbours explored their vocal limits. The staff was very friendly to plan our stay at Penang with good advice on places to visit and places to eat. Do try the Pisa Corner!”

“Fig Tree Hill is amazing. We knew it was far out from all the main sights in Penang itself but to be honest we are all so glad we did. This place is set on a hill away from everything other than trees and lovely people. Sim the host couldn't do enough for us and arranged transport for us to do everything as Taxi's find it a little difficult to find the place. He couldn't have been more helpful and his knowledge and care for his guests is above what he needs to do. My son adored him. Breakfast is brilliant and sets you up for the day. There are staff to work with each room and our guy Harif was so lovely and caring and worked so hard. Rooms have a lovely feel to them and are quirky so you feel you are in a tree house!! We got to stay in two different houses which was cool Pool is lovely and once again clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back. Thanks Sim :)”
