“The breakfast was lovely. Lots of selection, scrambled eggs and bacon delicious. I would have preferred orange juice without ice. Staff very nice. The mattress was a bit saggy but I hear they are renovating the bedrooms so I will visit again and see how it is. the restaurant was in the middle of being renovated. The bar needs renovation too it has gone very shabby. We had dinner in hotel the day before, the food was beautiful but the waitress that day was a little scattered, she didn't set the table after cleaning it and wasn't as friendly as the rest of the staff. Otherwise all was good the receptionist (a lady) was excellent, friendly, helpful and efficient.”

“The room was large enough and had all the comfy bits required. The bathroom was ample although the ventilation wasn't up too much in there. The staff were fantastic all round and any query was answered fully and easily. We were leaving early on departure day, before bfast start, but the receptionist asked the Chefs if the would sort something out and we were done some nice scrambled egg on toast. Cheers guys! There is a great bar/pub/restaurant with loads of character and we were always made welcome, whatever time we turned up!!! Cheers again!”
