“The pleasant helpful staff. The flexible helpful attitude of the manager allowing us and our separately booked family members to remain and use the hotel facilities until their flight, and ours on the following day, was due. Our flight was very late and we were able to remain as long as we needed to. The excellent swimming pool. The pleasant gardens, the excellent restaurant. Behind the hotel, and accessed by a walk along the road outside the hotel to the right and right again, was a fascinating rural lane perfect for adventurous walkers needing to explore locally. Although we only used the hotel as a stop over between flight and train I would recommend the Flora Hotel as an excellent base from which to take trips up to the hills and local coast, and I am sure the proprietors would be happy to arrange safe and suitable drivers to facilitate this. Best hotel I have ever stayed in.”
