“breakfast was great and location good not be better”
“Mirco is a warm and friendly host. He greeted us as friends and we immediately felt welcomed. The Hotel is in a quiet and peaceful location not far from the neighbouring little village, but remote enough to feel like you are miles away from the busyness of life. Mirco and Helena are renovating the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a view from two window out onto the surrounding farm land and forests. Mirco is also the chef and the food, beer and wine in the restaurant is excellent, as is the breakfast. We only stayed one night but it was perfect and incredible value for money.”

“After a day out in frosty snow, it was an absolute delight to arrive at Forellenhof. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with all expected facilities. We ate in the restaurant and were treated to a delicious meal which included schnitzel. The breakfast was similarly tasty. The owners are friendly and hospitable.”

“Great, calm location at the end of the World (road for cars really ends here). Ideal for walks or morning run in beautiful nature. Very friendly service, breakfest and price. Unfortunately I was not there long enough to taste Trout fish this place has in small lakes just next to the hotel. I met a white deer on my morning run no so far from the hotel. Will come again.”

“First I arrived there, I thought "oh dear, it's in the middle of nowhere". But shortly after making acquaintance with owner and his wife and getting in my room, I knew, it will be special stay. And it was. Fantastic dinner, excellent room and friendly owners, all made my stay very nice experience. For that I thank you! I just feel sorry, that I stayed only one night. But this year I will have several business trips to Bad Berleburg, so I will always look forward to stay here again. Oh, btw, I'll try to renew little bit of my russian till next time :). David Pizur”
