“Ideal for Glacier! Hadn't realised Icelandic word for glacier and thought I had booked a different Foss Hotel (3 Foss Hotels on this part of route 1) so had a longer trip -my fault. Location stunning. Arrived later than planned so appreciated restaurant- good local evening meal, sleep and excellent breakfast. Very clean, quiet and friendly staff.”

“Best breakfast we had in all our stays in Iceland. The hotel is new and the rooms are super comfy. Staff were really helpful and friendly. It's a 10 minute drive to the hoffell hot tubs and the area around the hotel is pretty open and far enough away from towns that you'll get a clear view of the northern lights if the weather plays ball. Restaurant is also really good for dinner but expect Iceland prices ”

“Loved everything about this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. The friendly and professional staff were a delight. Great breakfast each morning with large selection of hot and cold, even fresh made waffles! The room was modern and very comfortable with amazing views, both from our room and from the dining area. Fantastic value for money. We extended our stay an extra night. Saw the Northern Lights on both nights, UNFORGETTABLE. The staff will even call your room to inform you if the lights are on display.”
