“This is a very good hotel chain. It was nice to stay in this hotel after the drive from Reykjavik. The location was excellent and a prime location for seeing the northern lights (which we did!). The room was big and clean, the bed was very comfortable! The views were breathtaking (the sea on side, mountains and glacier on the other). Breakfast was more than decent!”
“Fosshotel Hellnar was in a beautiful location at the head of a very nice walking trail between Hellnar and Arnastapi. It is also very close to Snaefellsjokull National Park. Our room was basic but comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful when planning our day's activities around some questionable weather and driving conditions. Nice breakfast buffet, and an excellent dinner in their restaurant which has an amazing view over the water. A good base for exploring Snaefellsnes Peninsula.”
“Amazing location- walk to the falls. I wouldn't pay for the view again- really not that great. You could see the falls, but it was pretty far away. Staff was really helpful, always pleasant. Bkfst very good. Rooms clean, coffee in the hall 24/7 very nice.”
“This is a first-rate hotel, not the usual Guest Hotel. The facilities are modern, the check in process is like any other hotel, and it's in a beautiful location. The dining room is beautiful, and food was excellent. The rooms were quiet and spacious. There is a super walking trail along the ocean accessible right from the door. The views are amazing!”
