“The resort itself is very nice, beautiful sea views, excellent breakfast. Only 15 minutes drive to Machico with sandy beach. 15 minutes drive to Funchal. Clean, modern, helpful staff. Convenient store nearby. There are other resorts nearby that can be visited, nice promenade and beach with natural wave stoppers. Need swim shoes though.”

“-The fish and italian restaurant have excellent atmospheres (although the food was much better in the fish one!). Excellent prices as well. I would highly recommend to go to these restaurants instead of taking the evening buffet at the hotel. -The capoeira bar is very nice, again with great atmosphere, good prices and in some evenings also nice live music -The massages and services at the spa were very good and people were really professional and welcoming -The hotel guess have access to a very big gym with machines and activities -The hotel room was big and confortable -the breakfast was very good and very varied”
