“the service was excellent. the breakfast served was delicious and very very fresh.”
“Quiet apartment that is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and a short walk to the river.”
“The homestay was tastefully done, spacious and clean. The managers of the place were courteous. I stayed here with my brother, sis in law and their 2 year old kids . The staff of the place went extra mile to accommodate our late night dinner requests and arrange for yoga classes.”
“Lovely room and bathroom. Clean. Lovely feel to place, relaxing. Quiet. Friendly staff.”
“We were five people and were given an entire apartment in the complex with two bedrooms, attached bathrooms, kitchen and living area. Everything was clean and spacious.”
“The 2 nuns who ran the hotel were very warm and friendly, and always ready to help, whenever they were around. The hotel is in a gated community, slightly away from the roads, so it's relatively quiet of traffic noise and car fumes, but close enough to the temples to hear aarti in the mornings and evenings, which I found very pleasant.”
“Beautiful hotel in a great location! But what really makes this place extra special is the people who run the hotel. The hotel is part of the Yogalaya Ashrama and the staff goes out of their way to make your stay as pleasant & comfortable as possible. Plus, if you are a spiritual minded you are welcome to attend great Darshan (Dharma talks) with Swami Shankaratilaka, as well as, join the monks & nuns during there morning meditation, prayers, pumas, etc.... Overall a great experience!! Will definitely stay there again!”
“Easy Access to Ramjhulla and high vantage over Rishikesh with easy commutability to Lakshman Jhulla markets and eateries”
“The staff were brilliantly friendly and helpful here. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome not only at the hotel, but also to Rishikesh. All the rooms are tucked away nicely in a way that makes you feel like you're staying somewhere really exclusive, our room also had it's own private terrace/balcony that was a fab little sun trap to enjoy our dinner on of an evening. The food provided for lunch and dinner is of a very high standard, and there's no need to worry about upsetting your stomach here. The food is vegetarian but you can get anything from fab South Indian classics like Masala Dosas and Idlis with Sāmbhar to continental favourites such as pasta and pizza. There's also an onsite Ayurvedic spa where you can get lovely traditional Indian massages for not many rupees, and you can even participate in some yoga classes if that's your thing.”
“The cleanest place we've been in India. Cosy room. Smiley and positive staff. You can use a toaster and a kettle to make yourself free coffee and tea. You can use the fridge but the kitchen is private so you always have to ask before you put in/take something from it.”
