“Not a typical "Alps-guesthouse" in the old style, this place gives all you wish to have a relaxed and good stay. Just throw your mobile phone and all "connectivity and must stay-in-contact-and be-social" away and enjoy the nature. Not knowing why, but the nuns who run this place and the connectivity to a little church makes this place special. Didn't miss a spa or pool or "action"...this I could have in close by St.Anton. Here we could prepare ourselves (also mentally) for our Alps-crossing by Mountainbike.”
“Extremely well run, clean and friendly place to stay. A peaceful and beautiful location with excellent food.”
“Staff was very helpful. Room very cosy and well equipped. Bathroom nice and clean (4 stars hotel standard at least). Restaurant serves delicious meals (cheese soup was amazing). There is locker for bikes where you can keep them safe overnight. Breakfast was very nice prepared and served including fresh juice and eggs from local chicken farm. Perfect place to stay for bikers”
“We probably had the world's only hotel room window from which you can look through the open church door straight into the church! This is a unique place to stay with a quiet, relaxing and contemplative atmosphere.”
“On the way up to the hotel it was a trek. When we got there it was hard to weigh up. Dont be as nonplussed as we were, it was a fantastic, relaxing atmosphere with great food. It would appear to be a religious retreat quiet and great for contemplation. It was just lovely that's the best way I can describe it. All good.”
“Loved the location, the staff and the food. Sister Barbara, who runs the place, is worldly and wise with the added bonus of a great sense of humour.”
“This is such a special place to stay. We came last year and loved it and our visit this year was every bit as wonderful. The setting is magical and so peaceful as it is at the end of a no through road. We were there on the night that a barbecue was organised for the evening meal - delicious! The staff are outstanding; they really do care about their guests and make you feel so valued. I appreciated the e-mail wishing us a good journey before we arrived and Sister Barbara's warm welcome was so lovely after a long and tiring day travelling from Italy. We will definitely come again next year!”
“The place is extremely nice and beautiful! it's so peaceful there and their restaurant serves very delicious food!! the carrot and ginger soup was superb! if we can, we will stay there again. in our austria-italy trip, this is the best sleeping place we had! p.s. you can climb up and see the panorama of the whole area and an old castle.”
“Quiet and picturesque location, isolated indeed but this is what makes it special. Great modernised rooms, spiritual and contemplative atmosphere without being overbearingly religious”
