“The hotel is nice and quiet, just 3 mins walk away from Lake Kawaguchi,we can see Mt Fuji from our room.We like it's away from most hotels, not many tourists are around.The owner is so friendly and helpful, he make our stay very comfortable experience.The breakfast he made was very delicious,we stayed two nights and the breakfast each morning was different,he obviously has put thoughts into it.”

“The host is extremely friendly. Although he knew that we do not speak much Japanese, he tried his best to communicate with us in English. On the last morning of our stay, he even drove us to Arakura Sengen Shrine near Shimo-Yoshida station to take the photo of Chureito Pagoda and Mount Fuji, once he found out that the weather that morning is very good. Both my friend and I enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend Gastof Melange to our friends.”
“Hotel Owner was very friendly, we called him at Kawaguchiko-station and he explanied very well how to access to the Hotel. And during our stay he gave us many advices where to go and what to see. On that day, we were the only guest and we felt very comfortable with everything. Hotel itself is very close to the Lake, and bus station. very relaxing :)”

“Lovely owners of this guesthouse. So accomodating driving us to a nearby restaurant (as we were late arriving) and then picked us up again when we were finished dinner. Lovely breakfast and dinner next day. Yoshiaki's wife a wonderful cook. Beautiful location so close to the lake and Mt Fuji viewed at the end of the street! Able to hire pushbikes walking distance from guesthouse to ride around the lake.Wonderful stay. Owners also allowed us to use their private onsen after our day of riding....bliss!”
