“Gorgeous hotel right in the heart of the old town.”
“Gombit is a lovely designer hotel in the magical town of Bergamo Citta Alta...the rooms are beautifully done and very comfortable. The decor is perfect - good breakfast and perfect location in the Citta Alta. Staff was very friendly and would recommend it for anyone visiting Bergamo.”
“Our fourth floor room, No 11, was comfortable and spacious, with timber flooring and a double bed with a summer duvet. It was quiet and overlooked a back piazzetta that contained an historic communal laundry. The bathroom had a shower cubicle with a sliding door. An electric kettle was provided and there was an adequate number of power points. Wifi was good although difficult to connect at times. There was a small balcony and a double-glazed, openable window. Lighting was good (except for shaving) with many (confusing) light switches! Breakfast was good with hard-boiled eggs. Clean blankets were provided due to unseasonable cool nights. The hotel is in the centre of the historic area of Bergamo Alta.”
